There are many beautiful airs from the Masters that are quite unknown to the average student. This volume is a follow-up to First Year Classics and presents examples more advanced than those in the first book. The material used has been carefully selected with special regard to its musical appeal so as to develop a feeling of affection rather than dread on the part of the pupil. Short biographical sketches are also given.
